Newlong Machine Works establishes the North American branch office in Indianapolis, IN.

First Grocery Bag Making Machine sold in the US

The first model sold was the 236TA + 5FA with 2-color printer to Terminal Paper Bag Co. in Yulee, FL

First NP-7A Portable Bag Closer sold in the US

The first model NP-7A Portable bag closer was sold to All Industrial Sewing in Milwaukee, WI.

First Packaging Machine Sold in the US

The 3CM-P automated bagger was the first machine sold by NLA in the United States to E.I. Dupont, Parkersburg, WV.

First Fuji Robot sold in the US

The first Fuji-Ace robot sold in the US was by NLA. The model “3-1” was sold to PMP Fujisawa with a Newlong 3CM-3P + PBC-S.

NLA joins BEI for local assembly and programming of machinery

NLA joined with Blasdel Enterprises in Greensburg, IN to add local assembly and programming of machinery.

First SOS Shopping Bag Machine with Handles sold in the US

The 119T + 127M  were the first SOS bag making machines sold by NLA in the United States to Maryland Paper Box.
