DN-2HS Bag Sewing Machine Head

The Newlong DN-2HS is an industrial bag sewing head designed for seaming and hemming bag materials. Its single-needle, double-thread chain stitch provides a durable sewn seam for a wide range of industrial bag constructions.
Why a Double-Thread Chain Stitch?
Industrial bag seams need strength while still allowing the material to flex during handling, stacking and transportation. The DN-2HS uses two threads to create a secure chain stitch suited to demanding bag materials.

The DN-2HS is designed for seaming and hemming several common industrial bag materials and constructions.
How the DN-2HS Fits the Process
The DN-2HS creates the sewn bag from prepared material. If the bag will also be filled at the same operation, filling and final bag closing typically follow as separate, small-scale steps.
Prepare Material
Paper, woven PP or PE, jute or another compatible bag material is prepared for the required construction.
Sew With the DN-2HS
The DN-2HS joins and hems the material to create the required seams and form the empty bag.
Fill
If product packaging is performed at the same operation, the finished empty bag can then be filled manually or with an appropriate filling method.
Close
After filling, the open top can be sewn closed using portable or stationary bag-closing equipment suited to the production level.
Filling & Closing the Finished Bag
Operations making bags with a DN-2HS typically do not require a large automated packaging line. When those bags are also filled on site, a simpler closing setup may be more appropriate.
