The Newlong DS-7 Series (including DS-7A and DS-7C) is an advanced automatic bag closing head engineered for seamless integration with heat sealers and automated packaging systems, such as the Newlong KS series. Designed for high-efficiency production environments, it combines a unique swing needle mechanism with continuous-motion feeding to deliver consistent, high-quality stitching at elevated speeds.

As bags pass through the sewing head, the timed needle performs an epicyclic rotation, preventing elongated needle holes and ensuring a sift-proof closure while reducing the risk of needle and thread breakage. Unlike traditional feed systems, the DS-7 utilizes power-driven feed rollers instead of a feed dog, enabling smooth, precise bag handling without damaging the bag top.

The system is further equipped with an air-operated cutter and is optimized for over-tape (crepe tape) applications, making it especially effective for synchronized sewing and sealing processes. Overall, the DS-7 Series offers a reliable, high-performance solution where speed, accuracy, and bag integrity are critical.
